Empire mahogany and mahogany veneer bergere / desk armchair, beautiful, very rare model with ram-shaped armrests, standing of goat-feet shaped legs on the front. Early 19th century Parisian work circa 1800-1805 attributed to Jacob Freres, not stamped.

Luxurious production with a much refined sculpture, presumably a special order from a family or a prestigious palace under French Consulate period.

In excellent condition, restored, varnish renewed in a traditional way, a stunning orange silk with black stripes cover.
