GSLR Antiques
After several years working in industry, Benoît and Ségolène Geisler chose to follow a new path and founded GSLR Antiques in Grenoble in 2014.
Their gallery grew from a shared passion for history, antique furniture and works of art, together with the pleasure of discovering remarkable pieces and giving them a new life with appreciative owners.
Every object is personally selected for its authenticity, decorative appeal, craftsmanship or the unique character it has acquired over time.
A Carefully Curated Collection
GSLR Antiques offers a wide selection of antique furniture, seating, paintings, lighting, mirrors, works of art and decorative objects, mainly dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
Fine tableware also plays an important role in the gallery, with carefully chosen porcelain, faience, crystal and silver intended for collectors and lovers of elegant tables alike.
Rather than specialising in a single style, we select pieces that appeal to us through their design, history, quality of workmanship and their ability to complement both period and contemporary interiors.
Preserving Heritage
The marks left by time are part of the history of every antique. Whenever conservation requires it, we entrust our pieces to skilled craftsmen who share our passion for traditional workmanship.
Cabinetmaking, upholstery, gilding, painting restoration and bronze conservation are carried out with respect for traditional materials and techniques. Our aim is not to erase an object's past, but to preserve its integrity, stability and beauty.
Supporting Our Clients
We advise our clients on choosing individual pieces, furnishing interiors and sourcing specific antiques. We also offer antique buying, valuation and appraisal services.
