Tall porcelain biscuit bust of Countess du Barry made after the original 1773 marble work of Augustin Pajou exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Our piece is a late 19th century / early 20th century production. Jeanne Becu, who became the Countess of Barry, was last favorite of King Louis XV.

Our piece is made of biscuit (unglazed porcelain, process invented by Sevres during 18th century to imitate marble).

Beautiful tall piece, very decorative and ideal to recreate an 18th century atmosphere.

Excellent condition, no accident.

Height : 58cm
Width : 42cm
