Sevres porcelain biscuit statue : the hunter with his rifle, late 19th century - early 20th century.
Our hunter, wearing Louis XV costume, is originally part of a famous table center pieces set. Condé museum at Chateau de Chantilly exposes the complete set (a dozen pieces), including our hunter.
Beautiful model meant to be admired all around. Large, very decorative piece, ideal for a 18th century French style decoration.
Sevres signature on the base.
It is in very good condition, small lack at the end of the rifle (invisible because the part is hidden by the hand). A small chip under the pedestal.
