Louis XVI ormolu decorative clock after JC Delafosse - last quarter of 18th century circa 1770.

Beautiful mercury gilt bronze model, richly decorated with an urn on top, laurels garlands, triglyphs, pine cones, ram heads, lion head and his skin... All of it being very representative of late 18th century fashion, very successful type of model during that period.

The screen is signed Jean Baptiste Baillon Paris.

Superb collector in very good condition. Original gilt a little attenuated after 250 years. The movement has been revised and works well.
