French mirror, Louis XVI period, late 18th century.
Sober pattern with pearls ; our mirror keeps its original mercury glass made of 2 parts and its original gilt with gold leaf (eighteenth century, not gilt again in 19th century). The back of the mirror also kept its original parquetry.
The set is original and in excellent condition. The tain is sparkling on the whole surface, which is very rare. The frame was recently cleaned and restored by a professional.
