Elegant Louis XVI rosewood marquetry and ormolu table, 18th century production circa 1780.

Very nice so-called a la Reine marquetry, one of the most refined Louis XVI marquetries, finely chiseled mercury gilt bronze decoration. Very elegant, our table is not stamped but most likely the work of a great Parisian cabinetmaker.

Much refined item meant to be placed in a living room, but it can also be used as a very refined bedside table.

In excellent condition. Mercury gilt bronzes (original ormolu) is well preserved. Marquetry colors are still bright too.
