Tall Louis XVI mahogany secretary said "en guillotine", Louis XVI / Directoire period, late 18th century.
Many drawers, including a secret with 4 hidden compartments (opening mechanism hidden in the small drawer at the bottom left).
Our secretary has 3 different keys : clover, spades and circular-shaped. This and the use of speckled mahogany and an oak structure, are signs of a high quality production.
This beautiful piece of furniture has been restored by our cabinetmaker. Everything is in excellent condition. There is a lack of steel at the clover key (functional but to be handled with care).
