French antique pair of ormolu and marble cassolettes - candlesticks, Louis XVI style, 19th century.

Finely chiseled gilt bronze, matt and shiny finish.

Beautiful, useful and decorative objects. With the lid put on the first picture side, it is a fine decorative object to be placed on a chimney or a fine piece of furniture. The other way you can use them as a pair of sophisticated candlesticks.

In very good condition ; gilt is slightly attenuated, small lack to the marble of one top.
