Baccarat turquoise blue crystal large vase.

Beautiful neo renaissance heraldic decoration with a griffin brandishing a standard and a S monogram on the other side.

Our vase is a very rare late 19th century production, circa 1880.

That pattern is registered in the book "Baccarat Old Tableware" with variants, but the shape is the same. (Pages 26, 27 and 34).

The color is a deep turquoise blue much denser than the rendering of the photo. Very rare collector's item, the first of its kind that we have in hand.

The vase is in perfect condition : no chip, no wear, gilt is fresh.

Height : 30.5cm
