Fine Baccarat crystal bonbonniere / candy box, richly cut overlay crystal, a luxury cobalt-blue overlay crystal piece, late 19th century / early 20th century. By overlay crystal, one refers to a surface covered with a thin layer of coloured crystal which, once cut, reveals the clear crystal beneath through transparency.
An antique piece retaining its very rare original paper label. It features a particularly rare pattern combining elements from the Lagny pattern and Hyères pattern.
A fine collector’s piece in excellent condition.
