Pair of tall Empire ornamental ormolu vases, early 19th century production circa 1820. Parisian work attributed to famous French bronzemaker Thomire.

Very finely executed pieces, beautiful mercury gilt - matt and shiny finish - very finely chiseled ornamentation.

Beautiful decoration item, ideal to place on a chest of drawers or on top of a fireplace.

In excellent condition, original gilt locally worn out.
