Pair of ormolu andirons, beautiful neoclassical style model, elegant late 18th century production, ideal to complete a Louis XVI decoration. Very decorative, and finely chiseled.
In very good condition, original gilt well preserved. A temporary restoration on the iron foot (welding to be remade if the andirons are used in a fireplace for a non-decorative function)
