Sylvain-Nicolas Blanchard (1725 - 1770), eldest son of Nicolas Blanchard, is a member of a dynasty of great Parisian seats makers. The Louis XV style chairs signed by him are rare, but always elegant and beautiful quality.
Elegant proportions indeed, finely carved : it is a high quality production.
