Baccarat cobalt blue overlay crystal jardiniere / planter.

This one belongs to the very top category of Baccarat crystal productions listed in some of early 20th century catalogs. The highly complex cut decoration and the perfect execution shows Baccarat's technical supremacy over others crystal manufacturers.

Our item is known as overlay crystal since the surface is covered with a thin blue crystal layer - once cut, it shows the white layer by transparency.

Beautiful collector, rare model. Old production not signed but registered in catalogs.

In excellent condition. Some friction marks underneath.
