Pair of Empire mahogany chairs covered with a luxurious green silk (Tassinari & Chatel) circa 1810 - 1820.

Stamped .IACOB - Jacob Desmalter, great Parisian seatmaker in early 19th century.

Inventory numbers and Château d'Eu mark printed under the chair according which our armchair comes from French Chateau d'Eu - King of France Louis Philippe's private home.

In excellent condition.
