Stunning vermeil (sterling silver covered with fine gold) and Baccarat crystal liquor set composed of 3 bottles 14 liquor glasses enhanced with fine gold and their original vermeil frame in which is set a mirror. Empire style Parisian work circa 1900.
The frame is signed by prestigious French silversmith Risler & Carre. It bears French silver hallmark Minerva 1st standard (.950 purity silver) Crystal pieces are not signed (antique production before 1936) ; the pattern is listed in Baccarat's early 20th century tableware catalogs as Cannelures pattern.
Rare set in excellent condition, gilt is really fresh on both crystal and frame ; a little, unsignificant chip on the mirror.
