18th century French school, portrait of a young woman featuring Flora - Louis XVI period oil on canvas - circa 1780 - set into a Louis XVI period sculpted gilt wood frame.

The young woman is dressed in the antique style with a tunic and she is wearing a wreath of flowers. Very refined portrait, fresh colors, this charming and delicate painting is probably the work of a woman painter, in the wake of Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun or Anne Vallayer Coster.

In very good condition, cleaned by our restorers.
