Pair of Louis XVI lacquered cabriolet armchairs covered with a fine blue silk, late 18th century circa 1785-90.

The fluted baluster armrests are the productions of the end of Louis XVI period on the eve of the Revolution, announcing Directoire style.

No stamp, but the elegance of the proportions and the quality of the finishes are the signature of a great Parisian seat maker.

Our seats are in excellent condition. Completely restored and re-upholstered in sky blue silk (canetille).
