Early 19th century French school (circa 1800 or French Restoration period - 1815), portrait of an Officer of Conde Army (Royalist army fighting for the return of regular Bourbon family King) during French Empire.

On the reverse the officer is identified as Pierre Laurent chevalier de Girard Maisonforte.

Oil on paper pasted of canvas set into a luxurious Restauration period gold leaf gilt wood frame.

The whole set is in excellent condition, cleaned by our gilder, colors are bright.
