17th century Italian School (Florence) in the taste of Raphael (16th century style). Our large, decorative painting is presented in a large Empire frame (circa 1820).
Beautiful painting in a large size (made for a castle), very evocative of the grand tour tradition in the European upper society. Our painting was probably brought back by an aristocrat during a trip to Italy in the early 19th century.
In very good condition, painting cleaned by our restorer, gold leaf gilt wood frame cleaned by our gilder.
