Large Aubusson carpet, Empire style, Napoleon III production (mid 19th century).

Manufacture d'Aubusson has been famous for the excellence of its productions since 17th century (French carpets and tapestries).

In very good condition : 150 years old and very well preserved ; colours are fresh and bright ; no accident, no worn out parts. Slight humidity stain on the left - honestly, it is not significant when the carpet is in place on the floor. Spectacular piece.
