Charming wool and silk Aubusson tapestry - 18th century (Louis XVI period).

It pictures young shepherds in a landscape.

Original border decorated with ribbons and acanthus leaves. Ideal size, easy to place, neither too big nor too small.

The tapestry is ready for hanging.

Its colors are well preserved ; reds are still there. Some wear and old restorations, but the whole piece is in good condition and charming. Beautiful piece.
