Tall marquetry cartel clock, French Regency production - 18th century (Boulle marquetry).

Beautiful and generous rococo ormolu. Elegant proportions, it is a beautiful model.

Our cartel is an early 18th century production - circa 1730. Signed Pierre Le Doux à Paris.

Original 18th century movement, suspension modified during 19th century.

Very good condition. It was cleaned and serviced by our watchmaker ; it works well. The polish was remade by our cabinetmaker. Ormolu is the original from 18th century, well preserved.
