Large Empire chandelier, patinated bronze and ormolu - 12 lights - France early 19th century circa 1820.
Beautiful pattern inspired by antique Roman lamps. Very rich decoration, matt and shiny ormolu finish (mercury gilt) : water leaves, palms, oak garland, pine cone, bearded men : decoration is rich, proportions are elegant, finish is perfect : this is a beautiful chandelier.
Our chandelier is in excellent condition, gilt is extremely well preserved. It was fully restored : each piece removed and cleaned one by one, electrification is checked. Superb condition. No lack.
