Very large Aubusson carpet, classic Napoleon III or late 19th century production, circa 1880.

Beige colored, decorated with Louis XVI style cartridges with flower bouquets.
French Aubusson manufacture has been much famous for the excellence of its productions since 17th century, for carpets as well as French tapestries. Royal, Imperial and National manufacture in the first place, it used to be tapestries and carpets provider for official palaces and great aristocratic families.
