Miniature ormolu antique-style faun / satyr mask. The gilt bronze (mercury gilt) miniature is the work of Ravrio, famous 19th century French bronzemaker. It is set on a green malachite background in trompe-l'oeil style.

Beautiful, refined item, typical of souvenirs of the Grand Tour (European cultural trips that young aristocrat people went through from 17th century to 19th century).
