Rare pair of mahogany Etruscan chairs - so-called Klismos chairs, late 18th century or circa 1800.

Our two chairs are stamped Chapuis (Jean Joseph Chapuis, once trained at Georges Jacob workshop).

It is in excellent condition (old restorations). We had them covered with a superb red / coral silk in a sophisticated way. Varnish has been restored in a traditional way.
