Beautiful Louis XV - Louis XVI Transition medaillons armchair, 18th century circa 1770.

Our Seat is typical of Transition period, with Louis XVI and Louis XV influences. Proportions of this so-called à la Reine armchair (larger than a cabriolet) are very elegant.

Moreover, it is covered with a subtle 19th century silk (Louis XV style) - difficult to figure out its real color with pictures : we can send samples on demand. Our silk is 100 years old but new : used for the first time on that seat.

The armchair has been entirely restored according to 18th century methods. Therefore they are in perfect condition.
