Empire solid mahogany, mahogany veneer and ormolu armchair, early 19th century circa 1810.

Confortable design, luxurious production enhanced with ormolu roses on the armrests. Not stamped, attributed to Marcion or his workshop.

French varnish has been made by our cabinetmaker ; we had the armchairs covered with a bright yellow silk from French fabric manufacture Lelievre framed with a double gold threaded braid.
