Louis XV walnut so-called à la Reine armchair, 18th century production circa 1745 - 1750.

High-end, suberbly carved production attributed to the great French seat maker master Pierre Nogaret.

Pierre Nogaret (1718-1771), master in 1745 in Lyon, is the most famous seat maker out of Paris. He was trained by Tillard and Cresson.

Superb seat in very good condition. Covered with a Louis XV style Tassinari & Chatel silk.
