Louis XVI bergere, France, late 18th century.

Signed of famous seat maker Jean Bapstiste Bernard Demay, master in 1784 ; he was a seats provider for Queen Marie Antoinette).

Fully restored in a traditional way (horsehair and feathers) and covered as new with a bright, stunning ivory silk (Tassinary & Chatel - Fontenay pattern - Champagne color).
