Pair of Paris porcelain compote dishes on a pedestal decorated with flowers (so-called Barbeaux pattern) and enhanced with fine gold. Louis XVI style, early 19th century circa 1800 - 1810 (Empire period) attributed to Dihl & Guerhard.
In excellent condition, almost as good as new. Gilt perfectly preserved. No accident but a very small chip under the pedestal of one of the dishes.
