Rare ormolu Empire clock showing a cottage - Paris. Empire period - early 19th century.

Our clock is a very original and interesting model, shaped as a rustic cabin with tree trunk columns and thatched roof. A lamb is inside and small birds on the roof.

Ormolu bronzes are top-quality level (matt and shiny finish), very finely chiseled. Nice collector, particularly rare model.

Very good condition overall, including very fresh gilt.
