Rare Empire clock showing a cottage, made of ormolu, blue "turquin" marble base, signed by Jeannin - Paris.

Empire period - early 19th century.

Our clock is a very original and interesting model, shaped as a rustic cabin with tree trunk columns and thatched roof. A lamb is inside and small birds on the roof.

Ormolu bronzes are top-quality level (matt and shiny), very finely chiseled. Nice collector, particularly rare model.

The clock was revised and it is working well. Very good condition overall, including very fresh gilt. A foot was changed at the rear side, therefore not obvious.

Height : 39cm
Width : 22cm
