Beautiful cards table / game table. Mahogany & ebony veneer, ormolu lion feets. Parisian production end of the Empire period, early 19th century circa 1810.
Not stamped ; however the quality of the work, finishes, ebony inclusions that are typical, beautiful bronzes, everything belongs to the top-quality range and is to be compared with the productions of Jacob Desmalter. Close pieces of furnitures signed of Jacob Desmalter are exposed at Trianon Palace in Versailles.
Our table is in excellent condition ; it was completely restored (new varnish). No accident, superb piece.
