Precious rosewood and mahogany marquetry semainier, Ormolu ornamentation, red marble on top, 8 drawers.

Refined 18th century Parisian production, Louis XV - Louis XVI Transition period circa 1760 - 1770. Very elegant model, excellent quality of execution. Not signed, attributed to Nicolas Petit.

Beautiful piece of furniture in excellent condition ; our semainier was fully restored by our cabinetmaker. The bronzes are gilt with fine gold and the marble is intact.
