Beautiful rosewood marquetry chest of drawers / commode, rich ormolu ornamentation, thick breche marble on top. Opens with 3 drawers on the upper part, 2 drawers below. 18th century production circa 1780.
Very elegant piece of furniture, perfect proportions, unfortunately not stamped.
In good condition. Our cabinet maker has just renewed the varnish in a traditional way. Some of the ormolu parts and the marble on top are 19th century inputs, although beautifully crafted.
