Louis XVI mahogany and ormolu commode / chest of drawers stamped Etienne Avril, late 18th century refined production.

Very elegant piece of furniture, perfect proportions, typical of Etienne Avril work.

In excellent condition. Varnish has been re-made in a traditional way, original mercury gilt is very well preserved on the bronze ornamentation. Original white marble on top.
