Rare burr wood Empire commode / chest of drawers, ormolu decoration (mercury gilt bronze), grey marble on top. Parisian production, early 19th century circa 1812-1814.
Beautiful collector in excellent condition. Varnish has been made as new, in a traditional way. A few strays on the marble. Original gilt still fresh.
