Charming wool and silk Aubusson tapestry - 18th century (Louis XVI period).
It pictures two young boys doing archery and playing skipping rope.
Original border decorated with ribbons and acanthus leaves. Ideal size, easy to place, neither too big nor too small.
The tapestry was lined with a canvas and is ready for hanging.
The colors are extremely fresh ; The reds are still there. Some wear and old restoration, but the whole piece is in good condition and charming. Beautiful piece.
