Large Aubusson carpet, Louis XV style, Napoleon III production (mid 19th century).

Aubusson Manufacture has been famous for the excellence of its productions since 17th century for French carpets and tapestries.

Colours are still fresh and bright ; some stains, worn out parts and a hole (technically the carpet is a tapestry, so it is more fragile than a traditional rug), but still a spectacular piece.
