Beautiful pair of Empire andirons, ormolu and patinated bronze. Consulate period : late 18th century or circa 1800.

Typical of the back from Egypt style, our pieces are a beautiful model decorated with Egyptian sphinxes and burning vases.

Beautiful model, large size designed for a castle. Matt and shiny gilt a little attenuated.
