Stunning antique French sterling silver and vermeil chocolate cup.
Magnificent 19th century work, circa 1880, much sophisticated pattern. A coat of arms with a crown of count is engraved in the refined cartouche. The handle is griffin-shaped, much finely chiseled.
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard and silversmith stamp (to be identified, a talented one anyway !).
In excellent condition. Insignificant distortion under the base of the cup.
