Large Louis XV Rococo style silver plated samovar / tea fountain. All the pieces are signed Maison Odiot with inventory numbers 4934.

Founded in 1690, Odiot is the most prestigious French silversmith. During the 19th century and early 20th century, Odiot used to provide all the Courts of Europe and high aristocracy. Odiot's work stands in greatest museums of the World and still produced today.

Our samovar was made for the Marquis François de Ramel and his wife Denise de Secondat de Montesquieu.

In excellent condition, no bump or distorsion, no wear.
