Antique French Empire sterling silver drageoir or candy box. Our drageoir is decorated with laurels and has finely chiseled handles.

There is no monogram there : you can engrave yours, or your coat of arms.

Both French hallmarks Rooster 1st standard from Paris and Old Man (Michelangelo) (and associated guarantee marks) are stamped, which dates our piece 1819. Also the silvermaker mark is stamped on the edge but we cannot identify it.

Our item is in very good condition in spite of its 200 years old. A non-obvious distortion, no hollow, no bump.
