French antique sterling silver box, Boin Taburet, Empire style, late 19th century. Top quality production (125g !) by famous and very talented French silversmith Boin Taburet. Inside is vermeil. On top of the lid, a finely chiseled rose-shaped acanthus. On the bottom, a monogram JM or MJ is engraved. French hallmark Minerva 1st standard and silversmith stamp and name on the edge. In excellent condition. Vermeil is still fresh. No distortion. One little hollow under the bottom.
