Set of 12 vermeil (sterling silver covered with fine gold) spoons for a jam jar, Empire production circa 1818. In spite of their very specific usage during 19th century (see the last two pictures), they can also be used as coffee spoons.

No monogram engraved. French hallmark second rooster (in use between 1809 and 1818) and old man (in use after 1818).

In excellent condition, sold in a box.
